Animal Control Officer
The Animal Control Officer (ACO) rescues injured animals, controls stray and potentially dangerous animals, and brings lost pets to the Humane Society where their owners can reclaim them.
Please help keep our community safe by keeping your pets up to date on vaccinations and registering your dog!
The window to register is October 15th - January 31st. February 1st, a $25 late fee is added.
Proof of current rabies vaccination must be provided (if not already on file at the Town Office) for all dog registrations.
Registration Fees
Spayed/Neutered Dogs – $6
Unaltered Dogs – $11
Late Registration Fee – $25 (only applies to dogs over 6 months of aged owned prior to the registration deadline – January 31)
