When is the Downtown Project going to happen?
Project surveying and preliminary engineering began in fall 2021 and public information and outreach events began December 2021. Phase 1 of the project design and engineering is complete, and that portion of the project has gone out to bid. This phase of the project is expected to begin fall of 2024.
Phases 2 and 3 of the project will be designed over the spring and summer of 2024. These phases the project are expected to go out to bid by fall of 2024 with construction beginning spring of 2025.
No significant construction will occur during the summer months.
