Absentee Ballots now available for Elections to be held on June 13, 2023, at the Vinalhaven Town Office.

All absentee ballot requests must be received by the clerk by the close of business on Thursday, June 8, 2023.
All absentee ballots must be received by the clerk by the close of the polls (8pm) on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Town of Vinalhaven - Annual Election
Selectmen - 3 year term, vote for two:

MSAD#8 Director (School Board) - 3 year term, vote for one:
( ) Dempster, Susan

A write-in vote MUST be counted if voter intent is clear, even if the name is misspelled or a nickname is used, the box or square to the left of the name MUST also be marked.  No exceptions.

MSAD#8 - Budget Validation Referendum - Question 1:  Do you favor approving the Maine School Administrative District No. 8 budget for the upcoming school year that was adopted at the latest School District budget meeting?

Vinalhaven Water District** - Annual Election
Trustee - 3 year term, vote for one:

**When voting for Trustees, per Title 35-A 6410-1, Voters who reside outside the territorial limits of the standard water district are not eligible to vote.
