Special Town Meeting

Article 1.   To elect a moderator to preside at said meeting and to fix compensation.

 

Article 2.   Shall an ordinance entitled “Aircraft Launching and Landing Ordinance of the Town of Vinalhaven, Maine” as presented December 2021, and identified in Exhibit A, be enacted?

 

Explanation: This ordinance is a newly drafted ordinance that restricts the launching and landing of aircrafts within the incorporated boundaries of the Town of Vinalhaven.  This ordinance is presented out of concern for use of private aircraft arriving/leaving on Vinalhaven as it is currently unregulated and could result in land use conflicts, public safety concerns, and nuisance.    

 

Article 3.   Shall an ordinance entitled “Emergency Management Ordinance of the Town of Vinalhaven, Maine” as amended December 2021, and identified in Exhibit B, be enacted?

 

 

Article 4.   Shall an ordinance entitled “Quarry Preservation Ordinance of the Town of Vinalhaven, Maine” as amended December 2021, and identified in Exhibit C, be enacted?
