We would love your thoughts on how to turn this underutilized in-town gem into a playground for everyone from pre-K to elders. The Town Parks Commission, Islands Community Medical Services and Vinalhaven Land Trust have engaged Terry DeWan and Eamonn Hutton of Viewshed, landscape architects and planners, to design concepts for this public space. We'd like your input as we begin this process. We'll be looking at photos of existing conditions at the park/playground and some photos of parks from other locations to generate ideas about what may be appropriate for Vinalhaven.
