Special Town Meeting

The Town of Vinalhaven will hold an in-person Special Town Meeting in accordance with COVID-19 safety protocols on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, 6pm OUTSIDE at Vinalhaven School, 22 Arcola Lane, Vinalhaven, Maine.
Please park in the parking lot and walk towards the ball field where the meeting will be held. You must wear a mask, maintain distance from those not in your cohort/family/pod, and bring your own chair–seating will not be provided.
The purpose of this meeting is to act upon Articles 1 thru 3 on the Special Town Meeting Warrant:
Article 1. To elect a moderator to preside at said meeting and to fix compensation.
Article 2. To see what sum the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for Law Enforcement Services from taxation.
Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to approve the Vinalhaven Harbor Ordinance amendments.
The Registrar of Voters will hold office hours at the Vinalhaven School from 6:00 p.m., on August 26th, 2020 until adjournment of the Special Town Meeting for the purpose of correcting the list of voters.
